Hello Monday

Mondays are usually hectic for everyone. For most of us, Mondays are the worst day of the week. Still tired from the weekend fun, too lazy to start the week and the disastrous pending jobs that you have to finish

Luckily, I do not feel the same way about Mondays albeit my work is physically demanding as in I have to be there physically. Unlike most you where work means eight in the morning to five in the afternoon.

Well, that's just not the case for me. You see, I work when the bosses require me. I can have work anytime of the day so i can be called to do some things very early in the morning or in some random late hour at night.

There are admins stuffs I have to attend to but those are just easy. Routinary jobs are not challenging that I don't even consider it work. Hello. I want things that makes me gripe and think.

For me, Mondays are just like Tuesdays or Fridays- nothing is darn special or extra fab about it. No flag raising ceremony to attend to. Most of all no conference prepare for.

For me, Monday is another day to celebrate life and be happy. I'm a happy person so I guess it's normal that i see happiness in every thing day, be it Monday or Friday.

Mondays are another reason to be thankful that another week has passed and that another one has just begun. Think of all the things you can learn, the people you can make smile and the difference you can make.

So get your lazy patooties up, and start the week right! Have a great week ahead, everyone!

Happy Hearts Day 2013!

Checked my Facebook and Twitter account and wasn't really surprised to read love quotes, messages, passion framed in beautiful shots. After all, its heart's day! It's the time to be mushy and sweet and romantic.:)

While everybody's happy and thinking fancy, I am busy writing. I have loads of pending jobs and  i have to finish them before the husband arrives tonight.

Some Things Never Change

I was browsing through my pictures folder looking for topics to write about when I saw these two pictures.

Ohhhhhh childhood dayssss...

These sweet treats have been around since forever more especially the tootsie roll.

Tnother treat that made it to my "best candy" is Benson's Eclair  I wonder if it's still available in the market nowadays.

Bye Bye Blisters!

As you all know (oops! you don't know because I haven't been writing), I have been trying my very best to bring my running regimen to a whole new level.

No, I have no plans of joining a full marathon, not even half. It is just that our physical fitness test for promotion is coming. Failure in PFT means no promotion and could even be grounds for separation from service. Horror story.

I don't know the date yet but I feel that I really have to exert more effort.
With that, i have been having ugly blisters marks on my feet. I know it's not a sight to behold especially when I wear low cut sneakers, flats, and slippers.

check out my toned legs:)
It really is not that of a big deal but I just don't like how it looks like. So to solve that, I am back to using petroleum jelly at night again. The husband bought me a new jar.

It is actually for babies but I love how it smells. Of course it smells baby-ish because it's for babies. Duh?! I love babies and I love their smell...when their clean.haha I apply the jelly on my feet and wear socks and let my skin absorb the moisture over night. I feel so young! Why? Because I did the same thing when I was younger and had all the time to pamper myself. Makes me think how free I was back then. Sigh.

I need to have a foot spa soon
To top that, I put on a plaster of anti blister tape to areas which are usually prone to chafing to avoid getting new blisters. Again, it is the husband who bought the tape. Thanks, love!

Let's go PFT!

Back to Blogging

Hi there!

Yes, I know I have been lame and lazy for the last couple six months. I do not have any valid excuse for being such. Work has always been kinda (insert your ows here) demanding but I think i attribute much of my "unproductive writer's days" to the grand vacay the husband and I had last September to October. We enjoyed it that much that I got stuck on that mode forever.

I actually have a lot of reason to write, a lot of topics and to discuss and a lot of stories and ideas to share but I just couldn't find the time and motivation to do it. Bad me.

So to make it up to this blog, I will try to scan through my pictures and try as much as I can to document all the things that have transpired for the last six months.
