(Uber) Cheap Find

Saturday is supposedly scheduled as my pamper day. I planned to treat myself to the nearest salon in town but again, things change. And changed again. Again, changed.

From the camp, I went to Calapan three times but the destination was not to the salon but to other places I didn’t want to be (especially today).

1.    I went to the public market to buy cheap kitchen utensils in prep for our boss’ visit.
2.    I went to the printing press to follow up on the production of the newsletter that I have mentioned before.
3.    I went to another printing station to print our tarpaulin for the National Disaster Consciousness Month celebration.

Surprisingly, I enjoyed most on the trip to the market. Items are really cheap but not necessarily cheap. Labo mehn?

Anyway, when we were meticulously comparing prices, i got piqued by this simply cute pair of earrings. It originally costs PhP 60 but was on sale for PhP 25. I die every time cheap becomes cheaper! Without thinking, I paid it immediately and it became my first purchase for that day. Screw the boss.hahaha

black and white
The rectangular frame is made of wood while the circle accent is made of capiz shell. Cute! I just realized that I fell in love by how the colors simply look good together. I am not so good with colors hence the appreciation on monochromatic colors.

out of focus.hihi

trying it on
Looks good on me, right? I think it makes my face longer thus makes me look thin.:) will definitely look for more chandelier earrings. Peg!

How about you? Where do you get nice accessories at very affordable prices?

Washi Madness

I think I'm going crazy. Why? Because my recent posts have "craze" and "madness" on the titles. k!

Now, I know you're convinced.

Forgive me, folks!

Well here goes the the real story of this post.

As I have mentioned (did I?), I have been browsing to a lot of blogs as my way of destressing my brain. Unroutinary routine sucks, you know. So you see, I have been reading the candid blog of fleur, practical tips of michelle and informative ideas of manila mommy and ocmomimanila. They're all mom bloggers and I love how they share their life experiences in their blogs.

They've introduced me to the tempting world of online shopping albeit my first step was just a mere php 395 purchase from hey kessy. The shipment took some time since i had it delivered to my place of work which is in Oriental Mindoro. But the washi tapes are worth the long wait because when i saw them, i fell in love!

my first bundle
I bought 3 rolls of random designs and these were how i initially used them.

Taped some on my ever reliable tosh

tosh's makeover as mentioned in post of appreciation

my bb's head band! i sliced a thin line so the sound will still be 100%
There you go, indeed, washi tapes are cute and irresistible! I do not have overflowing source of creative juices but for now, i just feel so happy seeing the tapes stacked in my table.

I'm still thinking of ways how to make the most out of it. Will you help me?
